- SIGHT WORDS - Please do not forget to study sight words daily. Students must master 100 sight words before the end of their Kindergarten year. We go over 3-4 sight words together each week as a class, but we do not go back spend considerable amounts of time on words that have already been covered. Students should have mastered lists 1 and 2 by this point in the year. May I suggest putting your sight word flash cards on a ring(as pictured on the left)? This is an easy way to take sight word flash cards with you anywhere. Start with one word. Add a new word each day or two. Everyday review all the words that have been mastered and add a new word. Your child will have these words mastered in no time!
